On Tuesday morning at 7:00 we took our bag to the coach
bus to travel to Kawau Island beach to catch the ferry at 7:30.
When we catch the ferry first we had to take our bag to the
front of the ferry but it talk like one minute to wait for it to load.
When we had to wait for one minute we went in our group,my group
name was Katz we were leading but Benson catch up so we came third.


Next it was finish so we went
in the ferry I was to excited to go up there so when we
started to go I went to the top
because I wanted to see the dolphin so when we got there
I was very excited to see our cabin so we went in line to get
our bag and put them at the Deck.


Then we went for a hike up the hill to see the beach,when we were
there we had our lunch and the we could do some game,the thing I
like was eating oysters with my friend Serena then we had to go
back up again and I was exhausted because I had to climb up the
hill when we got there I felt bazaar because we got there fast I got there with
Mr Somerville.

Rugby World Cup Opening

On Friday night the 9th of September at Eden Park. There was an opening ceremony for the Rugby World Cup. Then the young boy came to the stage and acting like he was playing rugby with his team. He had a glowing rugby ball. When he was flying up to the big glow ball, he was dressed in Canterbury colours and he pretended to play rugby. The people did the Maori haka. After the haka two ladies were singing a song so it was time for All Black to vs Tonga. When the All Blacks played Tonga I was fast a sleep.

Walking to School

When I woke up this morning the sun was coming towards my face brightly. When I looked out the window the sun was shining bright and beautiful. Then I put on my school uniform and I ate my breakfast. After that I walked to school with my brother and sister. While I was walking to school I felt warm in the sun.

POPCORN MAKER

Today we made plain popcorn. We used
the popcorn maker. When we put the
seeds in the machine popcorn was popping like a tornado. When I pressed the button it sounded like a lawn mower.
Then we had to wait for one minute. After that we saw
the popcorn explode. When Mrs Slade got the
plastic cup to cover the circular hole, the
plastic cup melted. The other one had a hole in it
because the popcorn seeds were hot .When we ate it,
it was so delicious.

Week 1 Basic Facts

This is my basic fact for this week.

Touch Phone

Hey my name is Eleva. I love touch phones. I wish that my mum would buy me one and also you!

On Monday we painted our eggs white.While we were waiting for the eggs to dry we had a piece of paper with
an Easter egg shape on it. So we had to design our eggs with Vivids.
The next day I was designing my white egg with my favourite colour. I did some different patterns also
I did some shapes.
After we designed our eggs we had to pick our colour to make a basket. I picked green my favourite colour.
After that we got some scissors and cut it out and then we glued it together.When it was finished I put my egg on it.

When it Rains

When it rains at playtime it is so sad because we don’t get much time to play outside. At bedtime when the rains at night the splashes on my roof
sound like popcorn. It feels so cold and
I snuggle down in my blanket and I feel warm.

Earthquake in Christchurch

On Tuesday there was an Earthquake in Christchurch.The people who live in Christchurch are now homeless because of the earthquake. Some people were trapped and killed by collapsed buildings. The buildings had been ruined. It is a very sad time in Christchurch. There was a women up on the roof waiting to be rescued. She was luckily saved by rescue workers.

2010 Reflection

This year I have enjoyed playing game with my friend. Playing with my friends helps me learn about writing, reading & maths.Well the most thing that I like learn is Mighty Mariners & Active Earth. I want to work so hard at every thing.
